Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience purchasing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, tools, spare parts, and industrial consumables.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing systems, and ERP software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management for consumables, tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
• Lead and supervise procurement and supply room staff.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.
• Manage purchase orders, procedures, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain stock while minimizing excess inventory.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, finance and other departments.
• Track purchasing expenses, supplier performance, and inventory accuracy.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $85,00 - $100,000 / annual*

What you'll be doing as a Procurement Manager:

• Oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management of consumables, tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies for a manufacturing facility
• Lead and supervise a team of procurement and supply room employees
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high-quality products, and timely deliveries

Job requirements:
