Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience purchasing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, tools, spare parts, or industrial consumables.
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing systems, and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose issues involving PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Support preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Assist with PLC programming modifications, electrical upgrades, and equipment improvements.
• Support the installation, testing, startup, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
• Work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, and equipment manufacturers to resolve issues.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $60,000 - $70,000 / annual*

What you’ll be doing as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and automated manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose issues involving PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motors, sensors, and control systems
• Support preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Assist with PLC programming modifications, electrical upgrades, and equipment improvements
• Support the installation, testing, startup, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment
• Work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, and equipment manufacturers to resolve technical issues
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) & Weekends

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience purchasing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, tools, spare parts, or industrial consumables
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing systems, and ERP software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
