Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Mail and Supplies Specialist to support procurement and office operations. You will ensure proper inventory levels, prepare and submit supply orders, and verify deliveries, while maintaining confidentiality and a safe work environment.

You will interact with the Milwaukee Division of Purchasing for quotes, manage day-to-day tasks, and participate in data reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Procurement experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional procurement practices and services according to the procedures of Milwaukee County.
• Maintain proper levels of inventory, prepare, and submit supply orders, and receive orders.
• Monitor, verify, and track deliveries, packing slips, and invoices.
• Contact Milwaukee Division of Purchasing for price/quote estimates.
• Contact vendors for office equipment repair/maintenance and problem resolution.
• Collect data and prepare reports as assigned.
• Maintain standards of confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Effectively plan and manage own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments.
• Problem Solving: General supervision, with work regularly reviewed by manager or senior coworker.
