Job summary

Mission Critical Group in the United States is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to manage material flow from PO generation to final transport for modular buildings. You will coordinate oversize freight, permits, and staging to keep production on schedule.

Responsibilities include purchasing raw steel and electrical components, tracking long-lead items, and working with project managers to ensure timely delivery across multi-state routes while maintaining cost controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in supply chain, purchasing, or commercial transportation coordination in heavy industry or construction.
• Understanding of over-the-road freight rules, multi-state oversize transit mandates, and permit workflows.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for raw steel, fasteners, paint, and electrical components to match shop capacity.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and vendors to track delivery timelines for major items.
• Plan movement of raw goods and outbound staging of modular buildings within the yard.
• Source and manage heavy-haul transportation with proper escorts and permits.
• Review BOMs and reconcile inventory to protect margins.
