Job summary

Aro Homes in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Procurement Specialist – Field & Subcontractor Operations to coordinate site materials, subcontractor work orders, and ensure timely delivery to active construction sites.

Reporting to the Materials Manager at the Sacramento plant, you will partner with field teams, maintain ERP data, and drive cost control while expanding supplier reach and leveraging collective purchasing volume.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience supporting construction or field operations procurement.
• Familiarity with Subcontractor Work Orders and Change Orders.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Understanding of basic accounting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders for site-delivered materials and ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage day-to-day field procurement activities and resolve shortages.
• Process Subcontractor Work Orders and Change Orders in NetSuite.
• Track subcontractor commitments through execution, including insurance, approvals, and payments.
• Maintain procurement data in ERP systems including pricing and lead times.
• Collaborate with Construction, Site Operations, Finance, Quality, and Design teams.
• Coordinate with Materials Manager to ensure supplier usage and leverage volume.
• Serve as primary contact for field and subcontractor procurement issues.
• Generate routine reports and dashboards on open orders and commitments.
• Support site visits and adapt to shifting priorities.
