Job summary

Hurlburt Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Materials & Procurement Coordinator to keep technicians supplied with parts. You’ll manage purchasing, inventory, and warehouse coordination to ensure efficient field service and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in purchasing or inventory roles and experience with HVAC/plumbing supply. Training for forklift operation is available and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical supply or parts counter experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in purchasing, procurement, inventory, warehouse, or inside sales.
• Strong understanding of inventory systems or ERP software.
• Proficiency with Excel or Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available).

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Vendor Coordination.
• Place stock orders for HVAC and plumbing inventory.
• Maintain the full purchase order lifecycle from order placement through delivery.
• Receive shipments and stock materials for technicians.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and product usage.
• Analyze item velocity to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Unload deliveries and organize incoming shipments.
• Stage materials and equipment for technicians and upcoming jobs.
