Job summary

Viatris is seeking a procurement professional in Morgantown, WV to process purchase orders, track deliveries and coordinate with requisitioners to confirm specs and timelines.

You will serve as a contact for outside vendors, maintain procurement records and support inventory control. The role requires 0–2 years’ experience, a related bachelor's degree and solid knowledge of Office and procurement tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0–2 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of GxPs, SOPs, and pertinent Guidelines.
• Must possess knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and procurement programs.
• Must possess strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must possess attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Must be accurate and precise in data entry.
• Must possess proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and procurement programs.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.
• Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
• Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates.
• Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.
• Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of supply needs.
• Coordinate directly with purchase requisitioners to confirm specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
• Serve as contact for outside vendors.
• Maintain accurate procurement records.
• Maintain the laboratory's chemical receipt inventory.
• Maintain attendance records.
