Job summary

Superior is seeking a Procurement Intern for the Spring term in Gahanna, Ohio. You will support sourcing, purchase orders, and material tracking under the Procurement team, gaining exposure to data analysis and vendor communications.

This paid internship includes lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, and site visits at our Advanced Logistics Facility, designed for motivated students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement team with sourcing, issuing purchase orders, and tracking materials
• Assist with vendor communication, quote requests, and bid comparisons
• Assist with vehicle tracking, and wrap logistics to support Superior's growing fleet
• Assist with the procurement process improvements and initiatives on the department's roadmap

Superior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Spring term (January - April). When you join Superior, you join a national leader in electrical design and construction. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond.

Under the guidance of our Procurement team, the Procurement Intern will gain exposure to purchasing activities, data analysis, and vendor communications. This role is based at our Advanced Logistics Facility (ALF) in Gahanna, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement team with sourcing, issuing purchase orders, and tracking materials
• Assist with vendor communication, quote requests, and bid comparisons
• Assist with vehicle tracking, and wrap logistics to support Superior's growing fleet
