Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Purchasing Intern to support GPSC teams during Spring/Summer 2027 in Oshkosh, WI. You will assist commodity managers with negotiations, supplier selection, pricing, forecasts, and performance management, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world supply chain.

This internship involves learning how component pricing connects to standard cost, EAC, and broader financial decisions, visiting suppliers, and coordinating part-number changes and BOM

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Economics, or related field.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Support commodity managers with negotiations, supplier selection, pricing, forecasts, and performance reviews.
• Visit suppliers to understand processes, capabilities, capacity, and constraints.
• Administer RFQs, compare quotations, and maintain price accuracy on purchase orders.
• Identify and implement AI and digital tools to improve purchasing-team efficiency.
