Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation offers a ten-week paid internship in either Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX. You will participate in a hands-on program focused on indirect sourcing, procurement, and supporting strategic initiatives across multiple departments.

You will learn processes and technologies related to supply-chain management, work with IT Hardware/Software teams, and contribute to projects, research, and analyses while upholding confidentiality and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or economics.
• Available for the full duration of the 10-week program.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an internship program exposing you to supply-chain management and procurement.
• Assist with applying technologies to develop systems and solutions for clients and members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in business and technical areas to learn processes, programs, and technology.
• Support ad-hoc department and procurement operations projects, and assist in pricing and contract analyses.
