Job summary

Tallgrass offers a Summer 2027 Internship in the Project Management department in Houston, TX. You will support the Procurement Manager with day-to-day tasks on a major capital project and gain exposure to bid evaluations, data quality reviews, and vendor documentation.

This in-person, temporary full-time internship runs May–August for 10 weeks, with compensation ranging from $20.90 to $37.09 per hour. Housing stipend and leadership exposure are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an approved bachelor's or master's Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain program with expected graduation Dec 2026–May 2028.
• Microsoft Office expert level and excellent math skills.
• High GPA and foreign language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating technical bids and proposals and organize bid tabulations.
• Data quality review of third-party engineering deliverables and aid in creating procurement processes.
• Support auditing efforts, maintain logs of requests and keep meeting minutes.
• Catalog vendor documents and assist in preparing reports and ad hoc tasks for Procurement Manager.
