Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field.
• 8 years of estimating experience with a concentration in mechanical construction projects.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key leader in the preconstruction and work acquisition process.
• Produce progress estimates at design milestones and evaluate costs.
• Review document progress, build subcontractor/vendor relationships and coordinate take-offs.
• Define bid package scopes and oversee subcontractor/supplier bidding.
• Work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with multiple project relationships.
