Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Procurement Finance analyst to join the team responsible for enterprise-wide cost optimization through data-driven decision making. You will transform data into actionable insights and partner with Strategic Sourcing to validate savings initiatives and improve cost competitiveness.

You will leverage SAP, ERP platforms, Power BI, and Excel to deliver dashboards, analyses, and business insights that drive value across Packaging, Ingredients, MRO, Facilities Services,

Qualifications

• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Knowledge of procurement savings methodologies and sourcing governance processes.
• Experience supporting categories such as Packaging, Ingredients, MRO, Facilities Services, Technology, or Corporate Services.
• Experience developing dashboards and analytics using Power BI or similar visualization platforms.
• Understanding of commodity markets, inflation forecasting, supplier economics, and cost drivers.
• Experience with procurement systems, spend analytics platforms, and reporting automation tools.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis for procurement activities and cost optimization.
• Lead tracking and reporting of procurement savings across direct/indirect spend.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Present recommendations to Procurement and Finance leadership.
• Support close activities and ensure compliant financial reporting.
