Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking an Operations Finance Analyst to support product costing and analysis within the Operations Finance team. You will collaborate with operations, sales, and other departments to ensure accurate costing throughout manufacturing.

The role requires SAP experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 25-35% to plant locations is expected. Relocation package available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 2+ years’ manufacturing and/or consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and variance analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Travel up to 25-35% to plant locations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, distribute, and analyze operational results in different formats and timeframes.
• Gather USDA quotes, calculate base standard costs, and load into systems.
• Accounting and analytical support for hog procurement; reconcile monthly hog purchases.
• Submit payments and report on National Pork Board website and Pork Council payments.
• Provide SAP product costing training and support to plant accounting teams.
• Perform first level cost reviews for packaged meats cost requests and prepare executive summaries.
