Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Finance Analyst to drive cost optimization through data-driven decision making. You will prepare reports on procurement activities, analyze spend, and develop dashboards for leadership.

The role requires experience in procurement analytics, knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to leverage Power BI, Excel, SAP, and ERP systems to generate insights and improve processes. Based in Virginia, this position supports finance and procurement leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement analytics and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of procurement savings methodologies and governance processes.
• Experience with dashboards and analytics using Power BI or similar tools.
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial reports related to procurement activities, sourcing performance, spend management, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, ad hoc analyses, and business insights for leadership.
• Track, validate, and report procurement savings across direct materials, indirect spend, and SG&A.
• Monitor commodity markets, supplier pricing, and inflation trends to inform sourcing strategies.
• Support month-end and year-end close with accurate financial reporting and SOX compliance.
• Leverage SAP, ERP systems and Power BI to automate and improve reporting processes.
