Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking a detail-driven Procurement Expeditor for the P2000 Expansion, based at our West Perth office with flexible options. You will coordinate equipment packages, documentation and tracking to ensure on-time delivery, while supporting the procurement and project delivery teams with reporting and records management.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in major projects, strong procurement knowledge, exceptional communication, and solid admin skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in major projects within the resources industry in any capacity.
• Strong procurement knowledge and business process understanding; initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent communication skills with engineers, commercial reps and vendors.
• Ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders via email, phone and in person.
• Strong administration, document control, reporting, record keeping and coordination skills.
• Positive can-do attitude; proficiency in MS Office to develop automated reports.

Responsibilities

• Proactively expedite equipment and materials according to procurement plans and expediting levels.
• Conduct supplier visits and coordinate equipment inspections per contract milestones and ITPs.
• Keep Area Manager and project team informed of delivery status and risks; develop contingency plans.
• Maintain the Project Expediting Status Report and provide administrative support to procurement.
• Expedite vendor documents and prepare expediting updates and project documentation.
• Recommend improvements in expediting, inspection and materials management activities.
• Attend project meetings to represent expediting functions; maintain strong supplier relationships.
