Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Engineer to develop and execute Procurement Packages for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy's EPC lifecycle. You will support steam turbine generators and associated components, coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and Site teams, and ensuring timely supplier responses.

The role requires EST hours, up to 20% travel, and onsite work with potential remote options. Nuclear experience and PMP are advantageous, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years in procurement/related field in highly regulated industry.
• Willing to work EST hours and travel up to 20%.
• Nuclear industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement packages across the EPC lifecycle for new build projects.
• Interface with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Suppliers, Projects, Logistics, and Construction.
• Coordinate with project engineers and schedulers to include procurement activities in schedules.
• Develop procurement packages and send documents to suppliers for RFx and orders.
• Be point of contact for supplier technical, quality, and manufacturing questions.
• Manage supplier performance and oversee schedule progress.
• Interface GEH teams and harmonize supplier and project construction schedules.
• Support Lean initiatives to improve purchasing processes and systems.
