Job summary

Coulter Services is seeking a Data Analyst to support procurement and contract management within a large government organization. The role delivers business intelligence and data insights to improve decision-making, governance, and performance by analyzing procurement, supplier, and financial data and building dashboards in Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and BI tools.
Proficiency with Power BI and Excel.
Experience with procurement or financial datasets.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and database querying skills.
Familiarity with government or regulated environments.
National Police Check may be required.

Responsibilities

Deliver business intelligence and data insights to enhance strategic decision-making, governance and performance.
Analyze procurement, supplier and financial data to generate actionable reports.
Develop dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
Provide data-driven advice to stakeholders.
Support procurement planning, forecasting and performance analysis.
Maintain and improve data management and reporting processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement BI solutions.
Ensure high-quality data outputs.
