Job summary

Join our exciting and dedicated team at Vallen as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). In this position, you will work at a customer location and are responsible for providing exceptional service to Vallen's customers by purchasing products, goods, and materials that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in procurement or related field preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.
• Aptitude to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities to meet customer demand and align with purchasing strategies.
• Expedite or de-expedite orders as needed to ensure optimal delivery.
• Research vendors and items to meet specifications, pricing, and delivery standards.
• Track order status with vendors and communicate updates to customers.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues of timeliness and quality.
