Bristow Group is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to manage the end-to-end purchasing process, sourcing vendors, and coordinating worldwide shipments for spares and supplies. You will own purchase orders from start to finish and ensure timelines are met in a dynamic, global environment.

The role requires strong procurement knowledge, excellent communication, and familiarity with ERP systems. Occasional weekend AOG support and collaboration with Planning and Quality teams are essential.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of procurement principles and planning and their impact on purchasing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP and purchasing software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management and JIT is preferred.
  • RAMCO and Oracle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Procure quality spares and supplies for the company with ownership of POs from start to closure.
  • Schedule shipments and ensure need dates and estimated arrival dates are updated.
  • Source vendors, compare costs, condition, warranties, and meeting dates.
  • Coordinate delivery of parts and manage non-PBH exchange shipments and returns.
  • Communicate with Quality Control about paperwork for life-limited parts and overhauls.
  • Support procurement activities across global operations and diverse projects.

Job Description

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the procurement of quality spares and supplies for the Company and shall be knowledgeable of Company suppliers and shipping methods. The Procurement Coordinator will have full ownership of their generated purchase orders from initiation to closure and shall aggressively ensure need dates are maintained and estimated arrival dates are continually updated.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ethically utilizing Company funds when purchasing goods and scheduling shipments;
  • Making the most economically sound decision to purchase, rent, or exchange parts to properly fill needs;
  • Sourcing vendors for New Parts Creations, taking into account cost, part condition and warranty, and time constraints;
  • Sourcing alternative vendors when the initial vendor cannot meet the required need date;
  • Coordinating primary components and the related parts resources from a single vendor whenever possible or practical;
  • Coordinating the delivery of parts purchased on non-PBH exchanges directly to the needed base and facilitating the return of the core part by the remote employee to the vendor;
  • Adjusting PO need dates or ship‑to locations when directed to do so by the Planning group;
  • Communicating with the Quality Control Department about the paperwork required for life limited and overhaul parts; and,
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Procurement Supervisor.
  • Support procurement activities across global operations and diverse project portfolios, coordinating sourcing, documentation, and vendor engagement for both ongoing and ad‑hoc international assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of how procurement principles, planning, transportation cost structures, and negotiations techniques impact purchasing required;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, as well as proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required;
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high‑paced environment required;
  • Ability to work weekend AOG support on a rotational basis with other members of the Purchasing and Planning Team required;
  • One to Five years procurement/sub‑contracts execution experience including materials management and supply chain environment preferred;
  • Working knowledge of ERP and purchasing software preferred;
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and the financial impact of inventory transactions preferred;
  • Familiarity with supply chain management, inventory control, Just‑in‑time (JIT) preferred;
  • Proficiency in RAMCO and Oracle preferred.
