Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Minnesota is seeking a Procurement Assistant to support the procurement team with purchase orders, invoicing, and drop-ship processing. You will work closely with merchandising, procurement and logistics staff to ensure timely and accurate handling of orders and requests.

• Communicate with customers, vendors and company personnel in a timely, accurate manner.
• Interface with Merchandising, Procurement and Logistics staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsible for assisting personnel within Procurement confirming all purchase orders, invoicing customers and processing drop ships. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and wide range of company personnel in a positive and proactive manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Communicate and interact with customers, vendors and company personned in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensuring that customers' and vendors' questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.

Interface with all Merchandising, Procurement and Logistics staff.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Compensation
