Job summary

The State of California is seeking an Analyst II within the Division of Procurement and Contracts. The incumbent performs full journey-level analytical duties, manages acquisition processes, analyzes requests, collaborates with customers to develop agreements and solicitations, posts informal competitive solicitations, evaluates bids, and handles non-IT service contracts and amendments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview/appointment.
• Experience with procurement, contracts, and acquisition processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requests and collaborate with Division customers to develop agreements and solicitations.
• Post informal competitive solicitations, evaluate bids, and award and execute non-IT service contracts and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules, codes, and procedures and secure best value for the State.
