Job summary

Caltrans seeks a Division Admin, Training, IT, Purchasing, & Contracts Analyst to support Right of Way Management. The role blends analytical, administrative, training, contract management, and IT duties to strengthen the division’s operational effectiveness.

Under supervision, you will coordinate with internal partners to ensure compliance, oversee equipment accountability, and manage IT/non-IT contracts as described in the Duty Statement.

Responsibilities

  • Administers the Right of Way (R/W) training program.
  • Manages IT and non-IT contracts and oversees equipment accountability.
  • Coordinates special projects and provides analytical reporting and database support.
  • Collaborates with management, the Fund Monitor, the COS Program, Headquarters PDPD, IT, Procurement, and other internal partners to ensure compliance and alignment with Caltrans goals.

About the Position:

Under the direction of Right of Way (R/W) Management, the incumbent performs analytical, administrative, training, contract management, and IT support duties that are critical to the Division’s operational effectiveness. The position independently administers the R/W training program, manages IT and non IT contracts, oversees equipment accountability, coordinates special


projects, and provides analytical reporting and database support. Assignments require strong judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with management, the Fund Monitor, the Capital Outlay Support (COS) Program, Headquarters PDPD, IT, Procurement, and other internal partners to ensure compliance, continuity, and alignment with Caltrans and Division goals.
