Job summary

The State of California's Genetic Disease Screening Program is seeking an Analyst I for a 12-month Limited-Term Full-Time position in CDPH. You will apply analytical techniques to resolve complex government problems, analyze data, and support procurement activities including contracts and purchase orders.

Hybrid telework is possible; travel up to 5% may be required. Final filing date is 11/3/2026 and new joiners start at the minimum salary with state rules and PLP adjustments.

• Uses a wide variety of analytical techniques to resolve complex government problems.
• Develops and evaluates alternatives, analyzes data, and presents ideas and information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance and support to supervisors, managers, and staff in procurement activities (contracts, purchase and service orders).
• Coordinates program and business-related activities within the Program Services Unit.
• Travel may be required up to 5% for trainings and conferences.
