Job summary

Florida State University’s Procurement Services seeks a strategic Communications Manager to plan and manage communications strategies, training programs, and vendor outreach. You will maintain the procurement website and training materials, update policies, and build reports tracking procurement metrics for leadership and the Board of Trustees.

You will develop internal and external communications, support promotional assets, and coordinate training across campus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services; or a high school diploma/equivalent eight years of experience in the same.
Post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree and six years experience.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage communications strategies and functions for Procurement Services, including vendor outreach training and customer service.
Manage procurement website design and maintenance; update policies and procedures.
Build and maintain reports used for tracking Procurement Performance Based Metrics and provide data for leadership and Board materials.
Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communications and training plans; support Chief Procurement Officer and staff.
