Job summary

Olin is seeking a Procurement Co-Op (Fall 2027) in Houston, TX. Undergraduate students earn $25.00/hour; graduate students $33.00/hour. Housing stipend is available for eligible interns.

The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, data analysis, and SAP-driven procurement activities. Participants will lead multiple projects, assist with RFPs, track supplier performance, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives while gaining real-world experience in a global chemical

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business-related degree program (undergraduate or graduate).
• Must have GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required each term.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) May–August 2027; not eligible for virtual work.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, defined at rotation start.
• Assist with competitive bid events, supplier qualification, and issuing RFPs to support sourcing initiatives.
• Track supplier performance, prepare reports/presentations, and contribute to cost-reduction efforts.
• Learn and apply SAP tools to support procurement activities across categories.
