Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks an Onsite Buyer in Broken Arrow, OK to manage purchasing for assigned suppliers and materials. You will ensure on‑time delivery, quality, and cost targets while building strong supplier partnerships and driving continuous improvement across procurement.

You will collaborate with production, engineering, logistics, quality, and sustainability teams to support sourcing projects and ensure compliance with company policies and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with suppliers in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of procurement processes, negotiations, and supplier management
• Understanding of sustainability, compliance, and responsible sourcing principles
• Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems and procurement tools
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for assigned suppliers, materials, or categories
• Secure timely delivery, quality, and cost performance in line with business needs
• Build and maintain long‑term supplier partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Support supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management activities
• Work closely with production, engineering, logistics, quality, and sustainability teams
• Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators and improvement plans
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase supply chain resilience
• Support sourcing projects connected to new products, capacity expansion, and operational improvements
• Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval policies, sustainability requirements, and relevant regulations
• Contribute to responsible sourcing practices, including supplier sustainability assessments and risk management
• Help drive digitalization and process improvements within procurement operations
• Participate in cross‑functional and global sourcing initiatives when relevant
