American Wheatley, based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support our manufacturing operations. This onsite role focuses on maintaining materials flow and aligning purchasing with production schedules.

You will promote safety across the supply chain, build supplier relationships, and collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to optimize inventory and satisfy production needs.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with materials and components used in industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing orders, pricing, specifications, quantities, and delivery dates.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a safety-first culture across supply chain, warehousing, and material handling activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet production and operational needs.
• Build strong supplier relationships and resolve issues involving quality, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with production planning and operations to maintain appropriate inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, finance, and logistics to align purchasing with production schedules and business priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
