Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with relevant experience.
• 2+ years of Materials experience.
• Basic desk top computer skills required.
• Basic math skills including reading a tape measure and micrometer.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Scissor Lift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in daily pre-shift briefings and weekly safety meetings.
• Cross trains in multiple areas to provide flexible support and enhance efficiency.
• Assists Team Lead and Team Manager with administrative and operational tasks.
• Performs daily duties as a material controller, ensuring accurate tracking, handling, and distribution of materials.
• Follow instructions carefully and seek clarification when needed to maintain high standards.
• Supports onboarding and training of new employees to build a cohesive team.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and proper shift-end cleanup.
• Safely operates company vehicles with attached trailers to transport materials, equipment, or products.
