Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support purchasing activities for indirect materials. The role will involve creating purchase requisitions, processing PO changes, and coordinating with business owners across contracts and blanket orders.

The position supports software ordering (Coupa), catalog management, and timely workflow through the requisition queue. A Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience, or a high school diploma with 7 years in indirect

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience in Indirect Materials Purchasing and Supply Chain Management OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 7 years' experience in Indirect Materials Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

Create purchase requisitions and process PO changes for contracts and amendments.
Support software ordering activities.
Manage catalogs related activities and assist end users for catalog ordering as needed.
Monitor purchase requisitions and assignments per established procedures.
Review items in the pending procurement queue to ensure timely processing.
Provide backup support to team members as needed.
Assist business owners with purchase requisitions, and purchase orders, systems, and purchasing needs.
