Job summary

Roeslein & Associates, a global leader in engineering, manufacturing, and construction services, seeks a Buyer to handle domestic and international material procurement. You’ll work with Engineering and Project Management to gather requirements, issue RFQs, place and track purchase orders, and communicate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery. Location options include St.

Louis, MO or Red Bud, IL. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing purchasing, familiarity with ERP systems, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or industrial experience in purchasing or logistics.
• Familiarity with raw materials procurement (steel, pipe, components) preferred.
• Experience with ERP/purchasing systems (Oracle, Viewpoint) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage requisitions and purchase orders from initiation to completion
• Source materials and negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with vendors
• Coordinate with Engineering and PM teams to confirm material specifications
• Track and expedite deliveries and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Assist with cost analysis and data entry in purchasing systems
• Maintain accurate data in purchasing and accounting systems
• Cultivate new vendor relationships and ensure safe, compliant operations
