Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience with ERP/MRP systems; Infor V11 experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of procurement experience in a make-to-order environment.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools a plus.
• APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or CPSM certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle all tactical purchasing responsibilities for internal and external supply chain partners to maintain high customer service levels.
• Generate requisitions and issue Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchase order pricing, quantities, deliveries, and data within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Scheduling, Production, and Manufacturing teams to align material orders with production build schedules.
• Schedule timely delivery of materials for assigned commodities based on production needs.
• Provide suppliers with a rolling 12-month forecast to support planning.
• Establish and maintain optimal inventory levels for assigned materials.
• Identify and escalation supply risks to the Purchasing Manager.
• Actively manage inventory to align with business strategies and targets.
• Monitor and support supplier compliance with inventory agreements.
• Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Generate, document, and implement cost-saving initiatives and ensure visibility of results.
• Ensure close cooperation with internal stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sustaining Engineering on part changes to minimize scrap.
• Participating in supplier management activities such as qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
• Partner with Quality to resolve supplier non-conformances and process RTVs for assigned suppliers.
• Internal: Frequent interaction with production, engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance, warehouse, and purchasing teams.
• External: Ongoing communication with suppliers, transportation partners, customs agents, and other Vantage Group companies.
