Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement plans for assigned product and service categories, ensuring alignment with the overall procurement strategy.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to expand sourcing options, improve cost-efficiency, and ensure supply chain resilience.
• Lead supplier selection processes, conduct due diligence, and assess supplier capabilities through benchmarking and market research.
• Negotiate and execute supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Manage procurement processes, including requests for quotations (RFQs), bid evaluations, and purchase order execution within spending limits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, R&D, Operations) to define product specifications, establish supplier expectations, and enhance procurement effectiveness.
• Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationship management programs, fostering long-term partnerships and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments related to supplier performance, contractual obligations, and market fluctuations to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and cost drivers to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
• Provide budget proposals, manage procurement budgets effectively, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Train and support internal stakeholders on procurement processes, contract terms, and supplier management best practices.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management.
• Must have experience working within manufacturing
• Must have experience in contract negotiations
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong experience in supplier identification, qualification, and contract negotiation.
• Proven track record in budget management, cost control, and value-driven procurement.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously
