AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an Information Systems Business Analyst to support procurement systems and data reporting. This remote role requires proximity to Charleston, SC, with occasional in-person needs; pay is $19–$24/hr DOE on a long-term contract.
You will format and validate eProcurement data for archival migration, test migrated data, and generate recurring and ad hoc reports while coordinating with Procurement, AP, suppliers, and internal teams.

State procurement experience is not required, but candidates MUST have procurement experience. Public-sector or higher education experience is a plus.
A state agency is seeking an Information Systems Business Analyst to support procurement systems, data reporting, troubleshooting, and an upcoming data archival initiative. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines foundational procurement knowledge with strong Excel, systems, and problem-solving skills.
This is not a traditional data entry position. The ideal candidate understands how purchasing and procurement processes work and can recognize how data flows between procurement, Accounts Payable, suppliers, and internal departments.
High school diploma plus 3 years of computer systems/data analytics experience, or a related bachelor’s degree in place of the required experience. Additional experience with procurement, reporting analytics, web-based systems, or technical support is preferred.
This is a work-from-home position, but candidates must be within reasonable driving distance of Charleston. Employees are expected to be actively working and responsive during scheduled hours, and cameras are regularly used for virtual meetings.
Equipment is provided, including a laptop, docking station, two monitors, keyboard, and mouse. Occasional travel to the agency’s Charleston-area location will be required for equipment needs or infrequent in-person meetings.
This is a long-term contract position. While the department has an ongoing need and there may be an opportunity for the position to become permanent in the future, permanent conversion is not guaranteed.
