Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier offers to secure best value for the company.
• Negotiate pricing and foster long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Generate purchase orders per company policies and procedures.
• Monitor orders to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Inspect received goods for quality against standards.
• Maintain detailed purchase records including product, delivery, and invoicing data.
• Assign costs to projects in accounting software.
• Utilize MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related programs to track procurement activity.
• Operate typical office devices and IT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor and uphold a safe work environment.
• Maintain professionalism with customers and vendors; adhere to policies and training requirements.
