Job summary

State of Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services, Division of Procurement Services, seeks a motivated, detail‑oriented individual to support centralized procurement operations in Jefferson City.

This role processes daily mail, contracts and MOUs, runs and updates reports, maintains filing and archiving, answers phones and emails, and uses Microsoft Office and the state's financial systems to assist staff.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).
  • Communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Process and review daily mail for completeness to be used to procure goods and services for the Department.
  • Process contract documents and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
  • Run and update daily and monthly reports.
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems, scanning of contracts and prepare documents for archiving.
  • Answer phones and email communications assisting customers and directing them to the appropriate staff.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Internet, and the state's financial systems).
  • Perform other related work as assigned.

Job Location: This position will be located at 920 Wildwood, Jefferson City, MO 65109

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
