Responsibilities

• Procurement and contracts work for the Division of Integrated Science and Engineering (DISE), primarily for the Bryte Chemical Laboratory.
• Source vendors, secure bids, prepare specifications, and ensure compliance with state procurement regulations.
• Track purchases through the Procurement Tracking System and utilize SAP software to create requisitions and process purchase orders.
• Coordinate with various groups and vendors for efficient delivery and invoice processing; act as liaison with the Accounting Office to facilitate payment.
• Manage receiving and distribution operations; resolve discrepancies; assist in developing and maintaining contracts and inter-agency agreements.
• Lead special projects related to procurement and contract analysis, including expenditure tracking and data analysis for strategic decision-making.

Special Requirements

May be required to work extended hours on occasion to meet project deadlines which may include nights or weekends.
