Job summary

The Purchasing Analyst position in Florida’s Commerce agency reports to the Purchasing Manager and supports procurement under Chapter 287, 110, and Rule 60A. Responsibilities include handling Invitations to Bid, RFPs, ITNs, and related solicitations, and guiding staff through the procurement process.

Proficiency in MFMP and Microsoft Office is required. Applicants should have 2+ years in public sector purchasing and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with strong communication

Qualifications

• Two years of professional public sector purchasing experience (minimum).
• Experience developing or administering formal competitive procurements for IT goods or services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue Invitations to Bid, RFIs/RFPs, ITNs, and other solicitations.
• Provide information and support to staff in the solicitation process.
