Job summary

Randstad Enterprise is seeking a highly analytical Procurement Analyst for a 1-month contract in hybrid settings in Long Island City, NY. The role focuses on indirect procurement, data analysis, and supplier negotiations to maximize value.

You will support cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Facilities, and R&D and serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring project milestones are met.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of hands-on procurement, supply chain, or sourcing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job description

Location: Hybrid – Long Island City, NY (In-office Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Work Schedule: 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)

Duration: 1 Month

Pay Rate: $38.00 / hour

Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical, proactive Procurement Analyst to support ongoing projects across Indirect Procurement, focusing on Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Facility Management, and R&D functions. Working in a collaborative hybrid environment, the Procurement Analyst will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This role is responsible for supporting project management lifecycles, understanding business scope and requirements, performing detailed spend and data analysis, and driving negotiations to maximize value and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution:
  • Support the end-to-end execution of ongoing procurement and supply chain projects across Facilities, Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain categories.
  • Coordinate project meetings, establish clear agendas, maintain project timelines, and deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in organizing and executing market events, RFX processes, and strategic sourcing activities.
Stakeholder Management & Scope Alignment:
  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional business partners to thoroughly understand project scope, operational drivers, and category requirements.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable sourcing plans and ensure project deliverables align with business objectives.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Pull, clean, and evaluate category spend, supply base data, and market trends to identify savings opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Leverage advanced data modeling tools to analyze cost drivers, establish baselines, and present clear findings to cross-functional teams.
  • Engage directly with vendors to support contract execution, service-level agreements (SLAs), and supplier management.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations regarding pricing, out-of-scope services, and commercial terms to achieve cost alignment.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, risk assessments, and compliance oversight in accordance with procurement policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on procurement, supply chain, or sourcing experience supporting categories such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Facility Management, or R&D.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to quantitative detail.
