Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage purchasing of general material and construction supplies, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery to support project execution. The role focuses on reconciling requisitions, obtaining vendor quotations, and expediting material flow on electrical projects.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, and at least 2 years in electrical purchasing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing or related experience in the electrical industry.
  • Combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review field requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Release material from blanket purchase orders and track quantities.
  • Secure vendor quotations, prepare RFQ/RFP invitations, and level quotations.
  • Process requisitions and issue change orders per revised BOMs.
  • Expedite delivery and follow up on back-orders to support field production.
  • Review invoices and resolve issues with vendors and accounts payable.
  • Assist in generating submission information with requesting department.

Job description

Position Summary

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for purchasing general material and construction supplies, issuing and managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to support project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and review field requisitions for completeness and accuracy; confer with requestor as needed.
  • Release material from pre‑negotiated blanket purchase orders, maintaining tracking logs of released material and quantities.
  • Secure vendor quotations on requisitions, prepare bid invitations for RFQ/RFP, and perform leveling of vendor quotations.
  • Process requisitions for purchase and issue change orders in accordance with revised BOMs.
  • Assist in generating submission information for requested commodities, supplies or equipment, working with requesting department to identify needs.
  • Expedite and ensure timely delivery, follow up on back‑orders to maintain field production.
  • Handle return material, ensuring proper and timely credit to the project.
  • Review and approve invoices; interface with vendor and A/P to resolve invoice problems.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by Senior Purchasing Agent or Division Manager.
Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

  • Professional interaction with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.

Working Conditions

General work environment – primarily indoor; may require sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Noise level typical low to medium; could be loud on a job site. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. ADA compliant.
