The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Contract Writing Systems Functional Analyst & Computer Support-NH-1102-02 to work with 21 CONS/PKP, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. This a developmental position, the position can be filled as NH-02 or NH-03. The Combat Forces Command (CFC), 21st Contracting Squadron is filling a Procurement Analyst position at Peterson Space Force Base. PKP is the Plans and Programs Flight. 21CONS supports multiple Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) for Space Base Delta 1, Combat Forces Command (CFC), Headquarter (HQ) missions, NORAD/North Command (N/NC), U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM), and other AF commands. 21CONS has a geographically separated unit at the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark that provides support to Pituffik Space Base, Greenland. The incumbent supports the contracting squadron and its customers through the design, implementation, and maintenance of an array of automated procurement tools and serves as the automated procurement systems administrator. This position includes information assurance (IA) work. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the employee must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties. Once the certification is obtained a request will be submitted to the 21st Communication Squadron to be granted System Administrator rights and abilities. The 8570 certification and System Administrator authority are what distinguishes the NH-III from the NH-II developmental position. This position can close at any time.
Base salary range is $ 34,799 - $118,204, does not include locality.
Value of Position (VOP): If your current basic salary is within the band, but above the stated VOP, your basic salary will not be reduced if you are selected for the position.
Situational telework possible.
Up to 20% travel possible.
