Akkodis is seeking a Procurement Analyst on a contract basis for a client in Auburn Hills, MI. The role targets candidates with a solid Automotive or Manufacturing background, offering a competitive hourly rate and opportunities to influence purchasing and planning activities on site.

You will work with SAP, support demand planning, and engage in supplier negotiations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist procurement and purchasing activities across the supply chain.
• Support demand planning and forecasting efforts with data and analysis.
• Engage in negotiations with suppliers to optimize cost and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing needs.

Akkodis is seeking a Procurement Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Auburn Hills, MI. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Automotive or Manufacturing domain.

Rate Range: $44/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job responsibilities include:

• 1-3 years of experience in Procurement, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or experience in related field (Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operations Management or Logistics).
• Influencing and negotiation skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with demand planning/forecasting methodologies and systems.
• Experience in SAP.
• Spanish, German – written and verbal.
• Knowledge of VW part numbering system and logic .
