Job summary

CU System Administration's Procurement Service Center (PSC) seeks a Purchasing Agent to procure goods and services for CU and its four campuses. The role requires professional procurement judgment, adherence to rules, and strong communication to support customers.

You will work under the Procurement Manager, report to them, and help departments through the sourcing process. Remote work within Colorado is possible, with in-office adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• One year of professional experience procuring goods and services.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods and services in a timely manner following procurement rules.
• Guide departments through procurement processes and document quotes.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best value for the university.
• Analyze requirements and advise on contracting options.
