Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking a Processing Technician for the Central Processing Unit. This day shift role requires on-site presence and supports essential lab workflows to ensure accurate testing and timely results.

Responsibilities include patient registration, specimen collection by venipuncture, accessioning, centrifugation, aliquot preparation, labeling, and proper distribution to lab sections. On-site work includes weekends and rotating holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years experience in specimen processing.
• Prior data entry experience.

This position is from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, including alternate weekends and rotating holidays.
