Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Birmingham, AL seeks a Processing Team Member. You will sort donated items, identify great finds, and get merchandise ready for the sales floor while helping recycle materials to keep items out of landfills.

You'll work with a diverse team, stay neat and organized, and help move lots of goods every day. We offer flexible part-time hours, growth opportunities, and the chance to support local charity partners through our mission.

What Does a Processing Team Member Do Anyway?

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill
• Get those great finds sales floor ready
• Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently

Whether we are hanging the perfect jeans (thrifting one pairof jeans saves the world 1,800 gallons of water ya know!) or separating out recyclable materials, we combine our passion for customers and community service.
