Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Florence, AL is seeking a part-time Processing Team Member to help sort donated items and identify valuable finds. You will assist with recycling efforts and prepare merchandise for the sales floor while working with a diverse team.

We value attention to detail, neatness, and a collaborative spirit. Must be at least 18 years old and able to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced thrift processing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Identify recyclable items and keep non-sellable items out of the landfill
• Prepare finds for the sales floor and assist with merchandise movement
• Load and unload carts to move merchandise safely and efficiently

What Does a Processing Team Member Do Anyway?

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill
• Get those great finds sales floor ready
• Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently
