Job summary

The City of New York’s Division of Traffic Operations’ Automated Enforcement Unit seeks three Principal Administrative Associate Level 2 to supervise the camera processing unit responsible for red light, fixed speed, mobile speed, bus lane and MTA ACE violations. The supervisor will oversee camera technicians who review footage and issue or reject notices of liability.

Qualifications

  • Requires a degree or equivalent plus supervisory experience as described in the minimum qualifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with two years of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, including supervisory duties.
  • Alternative paths with associate degree or 60 credits and three years of clerical/administrative experience with supervisory duties.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise camera technicians who review footage and issue or reject Notices of Liability for red light, speed, bus lane, and related violations.
  • Perform auditing to ensure procedures are followed and prepare statistical reports.
  • Handle scheduling, timesheets, overtime monitoring, and other HR tasks for the team.
