Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a dairy processing plant or similar manufacturing facility.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Directs the overall activities of Milk Receiving and Processing departments.
• Schedules flow of raw milk and by-products to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate run times to match filler needs and minimize downtime.
• Monitor flow and discharge of wastewater; ensure safety and quality protocols.
• Perform preventive maintenance on processing machinery when required.
• Provide recommendations to Production Manager to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures across operations.
• Lead a team with effective planning, evaluating, organizing, and delegating.
