Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a Processing Shift Lead to coordinate daily operations on a 5:00 AM–1:30 PM schedule, with occasional weekends. You will assign tasks, monitor workflow, and support team members to meet production goals safely and efficiently.

The role requires leadership experience in manufacturing, with forklift and yard spotter certifications preferred or obtainable. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred; additional technical training or an associate degree is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, processing, warehouse, or production.
• Previous lead, team lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or obtainable within company timeframes.
• Yard spotter certification required or obtainable within company timeframes.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, food safety practices, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Ability to read and complete production records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate the company's vision, mission, and values.
• Maintain adherence to all company policies and safety manuals.
• Serve as the go-to person for team members during the shift.
• Operate and train others on forklift and yard spotter certifications.
• Support training of new employees and coach team members.
• Relieve a supervisor when needed and ensure smooth shift operations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and escalate issues to Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure proper documentation of production activity and handovers.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per policy.
• Attend company meetings and trainings as directed.
