John F. Martin & Sons, LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking a FIRST SHIFT Line Lead in the Processing Department to support the supervisor and ensure production, quality, and safety goals are met. Hours are 5:30 am to 2:30 pm with some mandatory OT.

This role involves supervising machinery, handling PPE, training staff, tracking yields, and maintaining compliance in a fast-paced refrigerated environment, while engaging and motivating the production team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production staff in a food manufacturing setting.
• Ability to supervise daily production, safety, and quality objectives.
• Capable of training staff and providing feedback to management.
• Comfort with basic math and recipe understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in overseeing Processing Department activities.
• Provide input on employee counseling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure staff meet production, quality, and safety goals.
• Oversee equipment operation and safety-related functions.
• Schedule staff and report machinery breakdowns to maintenance.
• Enforce PPE usage and safe work practices.
